Project Starline : New 3D mapped VR tool arrives without the .com

Google has revealed an amazing, immersive video conferencing tool they call Project Starline.

It requires a special booth, in which people can have a live, 3D video conference with someone; the VR realism is so lifelike that the two parties appear to be across from each other.

Meanwhile, Google has not secured the matching domain name, ProjectStarline.com.

That domain has been in the possession of a games developer company called Dead Pixel Arts. Registered in 2019, ProjectStarline.com displays a video about the Project Starline video game.

Following the announcement of the “Project Starline” project, squatters from China registered the matching .org domain.
