Rick Schwartz, the Domain King, knows how to spot a quality domain; Fools.com is now his latest acquisition.
Rick grabbed Fools.com, the plural of “fool”, from the NameFind inventory of auctioned domain names.
Registered in 1998, Fools.com was part of the Vertical Axis portfolio acquired by GoDaddy for up to $50 million dollars, along with another portfolio of domains. Source: DNW.
So how much did Rick pay for Fools.com?
Although the domain isn’t yet listed at NameBio, Rick shared the news:
In today’s acquisition news… FOOLS. COM coming to my side of the ledger, $17,250 [dollars]
Thank goodness there’s unlimited expansion on a domain since such a large swath of the population would qualify!
The fun I can have!!
Indeed, there’s lots of fun that Rick Schwartz can have with Fools.com, as a lot of fools resort to empty legal threats, when he refuses to accept foolish offers for his quality domains.
Congratulations Rick! ๐
What a steal
Great domain.
Congratulations
