Established editor of DNJournal and domainer extraordinaire, Ron Jackson – the most popular domainer of all time in user reviews – has taken a huge leap forward by joining the writing posse of Domain Shane.
The Domain Shane blog has recently acquired access to talent from all over the world, including Great Britain, Belgium, Thailand and Hicksville Alabama. The combined news total for more than 47% of the Domaining.com newsfeed, easily eliminating Owen Frager’s “The Frager Factor” from the top spot.
“No doubt, Domain Shane provides the top information these days about domaining”, says Ron Jackson.
“I strongly believe that I will bring years of writing experience, especially now that Shane pays top dollar for writing articles. As a pro blogger, I want to assure you that Domain Shane will surpass Tech Crunch, no doubt”, adds Ron while cleaning his Sony camera.
Years of trading experience and giving love to a large range of plants have made Domain Shane’s blog the #1 destination on the Internet.
“I might be a tree-hugging marathoner at heart but as a domainer I kick ass like a pro-gun Republican”, says Domain Shane. “Ron’s introduction to Domain Shane will make our blog more popular than Elliot’s, Rick’s and Owen’s – see you there!”, adds Shane while stretching for a 5:00am 10k warm-up.
No information was released about Ron’s wages but rumor has it that it’s in the six figures annually.

You mean Domain Shame or Dip Stick……
No reason to hate, BullS. Shane’s a friend and so is Ron.
Ron and I had an agreement but our contract got caught up in whether we should allow comments. I insisted on yes but then pointed out that idiots like BullS ruin the blogs and that’s why he wouldn’t allow them. Hard to argue but negotiations still fell apart. And the way TechCrunch has disintegrated lately, passing TechCrunch has become a much lower bar to jump. Thanks for the laughs.
PS Three writers can’t keep up with you and Frager and your mass postings.
PSS Apple stock is paying much more than blog advertising
Shane – I missed out on Google’s IPO, then Apple’s. I will wait until Steve Jobs bites the big apple in the sky before I invest in Apple and iCloud.
Thank you for stimulating the domain community, not to mention that Ron Jackson really needs the cash for new photo gear π
Ron’s more of a friend to auction fraudsters and typosquatters than he is to his average reader. Frankly, lately he’s done little than put positive spin on abysmal domain news, hold the largest admitted auction fraudster in history in high esteem, repeatedly highlight ethically-challenged auction hucksters as shining examples of the wonderful world of domaining, and publish the lies of registries such as Neustar, never following-up by tracking their promises. DnJournal.com is little more than a domain gossip site, IMHO, leaving the really important news elsewhere on the Net. Of course, the fact that Ron Jackson owns lots of domains, including a healthy supply of .us names, is probably the reason that bad news is given only a glance, if that. Anyway, I hope his propoganda and positive spin machine are successful bringing domains to their highest values, because I own a bunch too. But let’s not fool ourselves and each other by touting Jackson as a top-notch journalist and DnJournal.com as a real “news” site.
Heynow
If Ron is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Heynow – I believe you’ve been stomping on Ron’s toes with no recourse for a few years now; your accusations belong in Area 51 material. Chill out FFS!
if one wanted to alert a certain domainer to a domain auction that one thinks they may have an interest in without spamming them, would it be in bad taste to temporarily include their name into a forum post for the auction since it’s fairly certain that the person in question is monitoring their name mentions through Google Alerts so that they will see it? Or would that be considered BullS marketing?
Hey, I am just adding fire to the lackluster domaining news lately.
Since we are domain professional and domaining is like playing with words, that why one has to be good with abbreviations
DS- Dumb S(**^it, Dick S*&^^, Dragon Shane…and more….
Shane: “If Ron is wrong I don’t want to be right.”
Good for you Shane, that shows excellent independent thought.
Lucius Fabrice: “Heynow β I believe youβve been stomping on Ronβs toes with no recourse for a few years now; your accusations belong in Area 51 material. Chill out FFS!”
I’m not looking for “recourse.” Are you sure you didn’t mean something else?
