According to the Alexa rankings, Russian visitors to Search.xxx constitute 25% of its traffic, with the United States a runner up with 13.2%.
Luxembourg, India and Germany follow for a combined 17% of traffic.
While Alexa rankings for Search.xxx must be taken with a bit of salt, particularly for the fact that mobile devices aren’t tracked, these three month averages are a good indication that Russians love porn – and .XXX domain names.
Glad to hear someone sees a use for them. Too little too late IMO. I think the gtlds will all receive the same cold shoulder from business people and consumers alike since they serve no valid need and are, on the whole, dumb. Same probs faces by .xxx will be observed, namely they will not be accepted by the mainstream internet consumer.
