Sedo: If you have quality LLLL .com domains submit them to the auction

If you have quality LLLL .com (four letter/4L) domains, Sedo is planning an auction in September just for these.

Note: Sedo is a premium sponsor of DomainGang.

Dot com domains that are four letters long can be very popular among investors and end users. The upcoming auction by Sedo will take place from September 21st to the 28th.

The submission phase of the auction is now open! Here a couple of rules:

This Sedo auction requires that all submitted domains are .com, consist of 4 letters only (no hyphens or numbers) and the reserve price is set to $99 dollars, or Euro, or GBP (your currency of choice.)

and they really expect to get good four letter dotcoms with a 99 dollar reserve? sedo just keeps gettin’ worse and worse and worse and worse and worse.

  2. Andrew Hyde says:

99 reserve qualifies as a gift and they’re going to take 20% or more.

Yeah I get quality bullshit offers from Sedo. On my CVCVs I get 100 dollars offers. People don’t bother to even look that I have been holding it and renewing it since 1997 and some are from 2001 so just the renewal costs at compounded interest is much more than their low ball offer.

In past I used to even send a counter offer but now I am not bothering with it.

Keral – Solution: Set your minimum asking price high enough to avoid such lowball offers.
