A solar data storm, originating from a gigantic sun flare is hitting earth hard, according to the Global Data Observatory in Acapulco.
Racing at speeds exceeding 90 million miles per hour, the ion, proton and bozonium-7 data storm collided with the earth’s atmosphere early Tuesday.
The huge solar data storm resulted in data loss in areas where domain registrars offered less protection for people’s domain portfolios.
“We are totally ruined, this damn datastorm has devastated our corporate domains”, said Klaaus Kainski, manager of Domain Optionen GmbH in Berlin.
“Even half of my domains at Sedo are completely erased! We are looking at a loss of more than 2,500 domains, Scheisse!!!”
Registrars such as Fabulous.com often increased stealth protection, by storing the sensitive domain microcode inside lead vaults.
Kept behind 3 feet of lead, the Fabulous.com domains are secure and can avoid the impact of such devastating solar flares.
