Registered in 1998, TampaLaw.com was in the possession of Nat Cohen‘s company since at least 2001—that’s the oldest WHOIS record available.
The domain now resolves to a web site that displays the message “Tampa Personal Injury Lawyers” and a “coming soon” note.
It’s quite possible that the buyers operate the matching .org, then again it might be a completely different law firm operating in Tampa and the state of Florida.
Geo-domains targeting popular services are great even when they don’t match a corporate name, as they become traffic magnets due to type-in traffic or SEO when developed.
