The auction for the premium two-letter domain, MR.org, has ended on Sedo.
After 90 bids, 18 individual bidders and plenty of exciting action, the MR.org auction closed at noon today, with the selling price topping five figures USD.
In particular, “Bidder 7” placed the winning bid of 8100 EUR, which translates into roughly $10,719 USD. Their initial bid was for only 270 EUR.
Definitely not a high price for a two-letter .ORG domain, but hopefully a healthy ROI for its seller.
In the past, two letter .ORG domains have achieved better results; those were the days. 😀

robert zimmerman is a sellout.
It always cracks me up to see “Bidder 1” place an opening bid of $100 and walk away.
AWW, hell…. I tried.
RaTHeaD – Nicely played, only 40-somethings will get the joke 😀
Aron – You could have bid $110 😀
This is not a sale yet.

Don – If the buyer doesn’t pay, then it’s not a sale. Until then, it’s a sale 😀
