Two letter domains : HH.com sold to the Chinese

Another day, another premium two letter .com domain headed to China.

HH.com moved away from Hecker Law and into the hands of one of China’s biggest investors of such domains, 62.com.

Domain investor, George Kirikos, noticed the change and remarked about the latest stats involving LL .com domains:

“By my count, Chinese registrants own 166 elite 2-letter .com domain names (out of 676), or 24.6%. USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ still has 344, or 50.9%.”

Kirikos owns several LL .com domains as well, hence the “obsession” with such premium domain assets.

As a double letter domain registered in 1991, HH.com most likely sold for very high six figures, if not seven figures.

The LL .com domain market continues to command high numbers for its very limited inventory.
