Shocking as it may seem, visitors from Pakistan, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia (!) and Turkey rank high in visits to articles such as “Oops! YouTube censors Dot .XXX ‘Hot Dog’ video“. A lot of these searches are for “xxx video” and related adult keywords.
The reason is simple: religious or political doctrines cannot truly suppress the natural urges of the predominately male audience and its quest for adult material on the Internet.
Perhaps it’s time for adult web masters to embrace that untapped source of traffic and consider developing more .XXX domain names.
