A lot of times we get asked the same question: wow, are you guys for real? This news doesn’t seem right! Did Ron Jackson sell DNJournal for good? Is Mia Mood truly married? How do you come up with that stuff?
It’s easy.
Look around you. The domain industry is full of people with different personalities, tempers and behaviors. Each one of the “big cheese” domainers has unique characteristics. The same goes for the smaller domainers and everyone else.
We observe the news. We follow the headlines of both domaining and national, generic news.Then we have a couple of beers and a basket of nachos with salsa and we hit up the next new masterpiece.
That’s how we do it. It’s not rocket science. It’s not magic. It’s just hard work, observation and analysis of reality; we take things apart, we shuffle their parts down to their molecular structure and we put them back together, in unnatural combinations. Laughter comes from the oddity in everything that is supposed to look normal, that is expected to function in one way; all while we twist it around and make it work the opposite way.
Writing is an art. Get your own canvas out and get started.
