Earlier this year, Google purged the entire .co.cc range in one move, aiming to eradicate the parasites known as spammers and hackers using the free .co.cc domains.
According to a research report on the security of web sites hosted on free domains, the move by Google triggered a migration of the spammers and hackers over to other free domain providers, such as ce.ms
The ce.ms host is in Montserrat, an island in the West Indies. According to the report, the hackers encrypt malicious code that is then served from free web sites in the new ce.ms outfit.
