10 Domain Things not to do after a Thanksgiving meal

Happy Thanksgiving to all domainers!

Today’s Thanksgiving meal might be bringing friends and family together, but due to the consumption of mass quantities of food it can also cause problems – particularly to domainers.

Here are the “10 Domain Things not to do after a Thanksgiving meal” – with our best wishes for a happy Thanksgiving! 😀

  • Don’t register any domains: most of your blood will be away from your brain, processing the food in your stomach. You can easily make bad decisions.
  • Don’t buy or sell any domains for the same reason; alcohol is bound to be involved which will cause your judgment levels to drop. Now it’s not the time to sell that LLL .com for $100 to your uncle Bob.
  • Avoid arguments with friends and relatives: My domains are better than yours. They can lead to a family fight. People have been injured or killed for lesser reasons.
  • Don’t book your trip to the next big domainer convention: At the rate this economy is dropping, there might be a cancellation. Wait until after the holidays are over.
  • If you’re flying, don’t pack your domain list on you: If there are any pigeon shit domains on it, the TSA will book you for transporting hazardous materials.
  • Don’t plan any “night vigils” outside of BestBuy or other stores just because BlackFriday.com said so. Buy your gear online instead and save time and money.
  • Calling up the support department of US based registrars might up your blood pressure as they’d be closed. But Fabulous.com is based in Australia and that’s why they will still be open.
  • Now it’s the time to reconsider domain development versus parking: with a tummy full of turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing you can lay back on the chair and peruse your list of domains to develop.
  • If you planned bidding on domains at NameJet, play it safe and choose Bido instead: you will end up spending less money for the same junk.
  • And last but by no means least, don’t drop by Rick Schwartz’s estate uninvited to share turkey cold cuts and talk domains. Save that acquaintance for TRAFFIC instead.
