How to avoid a disaster during NamesCon 2017 in Las Vegas

NamesCon 2017 is the biggest domain conference of the new year; already expected to set new records in attendance and quality of business networking.

Domain investors eager to attend the event should know that there is an issue with Las Vegas: ongoing construction.

The event will be taking place at the Tropicana hotel, as it has always been the case.

Some participants prefer to stay at different hotels, such as the MGM across from the NamesCon venue.

In 2017, however, during the days of the conference, there will be heavy construction in the area, and the pedestrian overpass will be closed.

That’s right.

No more short walks from MGM to Tropicana, if you plan to stay there, the best way to get between the hotels will be to cross at the traffic light at Ocean Drive.

WTF?!

See map below for details, and our recommendation would be to book your rooms early at Tropicana, thus avoiding a disaster.

Many thanks to Richard Lau who informed us of this change.

Thanks for the heads up. My truck probably won’t fit in their compact parking garage, so I’m more than likely going to have a little walk to do anyways :p

  2. The disaster can’t be avoided!!!
