There are several crucial points of interest on that map: the US is still a major hub of people interested in worldwide events and a major contributor of monetary funds to places where disaster strikes.
On the other hand, the state of bad economy that Greece is facing is evident in the complete lack of any demographic information. While Greeks are eager to discuss politics or even debate their right to “free movies” on Facebook, they are quite reluctant to opening up their hearts and wallets.
