The domain name RPG.org was reported as stolen in February of 2009.
The rightful owner, Paul Muranyi, had said back then:
“I own rpg.org, and mmorpg-x.com as well, they have been stolen from me at a complex hacker attack on 18th February. Hackers stolen my GoDaddy accounts, and immediatelly transferred domains to another registrar. Police issue is in progress, I contacted local police, and InterPol, but it takes time.”
It took almost three years to recover but apparently – as stated by the owner – they have the domain in their possession. No further details were released.
