Domain Guardians launches Brokerage for Domainers

Domain Guardians roll out domain brokerage services and a newsletter.

Australia based Domain Guardians is launching a new service of domain brokerage for domainers and a new informational newsletter to go with it.

Mike Robertson of Domain Guardians said:

“We’ve decided to roll out our brokerage service publicly. As a part of our offering, we are launching a monthly newsletter.”

The Brisbane company provides a safe and secure way to protect the future of one’s domain business in the event of loss, death or disability and its services are unique.

While some might find this type of service “macabre“, it actually makes sense.

The only thing one leaves behind that matters, is their legacy and ease of continuation for their loved ones, who are often left alone to grapple with a long series of tasks unfamiliar to them.

I think it’s a great idea, but I think the way they want to go about it is pretty scary. It states that when something happens to you then they can help sell your portfolio to other domain investors that ‘want to help’… Want to help whom exactly? Certainly not the deceased, but their own domain portfolio, so you can bet that if your domain is something good then they will themselves be salivating like dogs paying domainer-prices, not end-user prices as they will be looking for the easiest/quickest & most profitable way to make money and that means that re-sale prices will be loooooooooooooowwwwww.

lol, i just noticed this is a satire site, in that case, WIN!

Sean – This news is not parody, as it has the “100%” logo at the bottom. And why so much negativity over a useful service? The bottom line is, everyone will die some day. Hey presto, a non-ending customer base. Your arguments don’t make sense.

  3. Hi Sean,

Apologies for the delay in reply.

The way in which our Legacy service works is that we sit down with the domain owner and they leave strict instructions and guidelines of what they want done with the portfolio in the event they are no longer able to manage it. They may choose to have the portfolio continue as is, sell some domains or liquidate. In each case, it is the owners choice what happens to the portfolio; Domain Guardians is here to ensure those goals/expectations are met and their loved ones are taken care of.

    Cheers,

    Mike
