Greetings and salutations, my brothers and sisters in domaining – this is Father Domainicus, and I shall deliver a rather late Sunday sermon.
Forgive me for running late to our rendezvous tonight, as a man of the cloth I often partake in social activities outside of our holy Domain Church.
Many a domain investor asked me recently, whether we are heading towards a catastrophic ecclesiastical dichotomy.
For those of you unaware of the meaning of this triad of Greek words, allow me to utilize barbaric English: disastrous splitting of our church.
Many a moon ago, I witnessed the unity of our Domain Church; I was proud of the achievements of the three pillars of domaining: Brother Rick Schwartz, Brother Frank Schilling, Brother Kevin Ham.
It seems that satan himself has been acting upon the dissolution of our Domain Church!
With tears in my eyes I read nothing but hatred about each other’s free will to partake in entrepreneurial activities, in the new domain name space, the gTLDs.
I prayed to our Domain Lord, to please do not abandon His chosen people in domaining!
I prayed for His forgiveness for the constant hubris against the old and the new.
I prayed for our Domain Church to remain one, united, Orthodox and complete.
Alas, my domain children, it appears that a Golgotha of pain is awaiting us all – unless we find solace in the joint ventures and treat each other with respect and goodwill.
The Domain Lord has brought a clear message, in Domaincalypse 4:19, and I quote:
“Fear not the new and the virginal, fear not the unknown and the challenging, but refrain from hatred and sodomy for my fire shall strike down those that prey onto the weak.”
It is very apparent, that our Domain Lord is asking the seniors of our Domain Church to respect the new blood brought forth by the expert scripture writers of ICANN – the International Church of Anointed New Nazareth.
I ask that you keep calm and carry on, with your hand over your heart, so that the .com industry avoids a full defrocking, for it would be devastating for all of us, like another loss of Jerusalem.
This is my message of unity, this is my message of love. Love eachother, as the Domain Lord commands.
