It’s turning into an epic disaster of sorts: Yoyo Email Ltd is setting new negative records, by losing no fewer than 6 UDRP cases that we’ve covered, in two months’ time no less.
After making the mistake of registering major brands in the dot .email gTLD, Yoyo Email Ltd was hit by one UDRP after another.
The latest loss is a double whammy, after Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. filed a UDRP for the domains DunkinDonuts.email and BaskinRobbins.email.
As with the other cases, the Respondent delivered the usual tirade about how this is supposedly an email service to let consumers communicate with the companies in question – by using their trademarks!
This is the epitome and definition of cybersquatting.
Michael Albert, sole panelist on this case, found no reason whatsoever to avoid the obvious and delivered a decision ordering both domains to be transferred over to the Complainant.
