Apple does not own the one and only ‘domain hack’ that truly matters!

Apple isn’t a big spender of money on start ups, and that’s one of the reasons why they have such huge cash reserves.

The biggest tech company in the world could buy several small nations outright, and has been privileged by taxation-free status after moving to Ireland, a tax haven.

Despite all that wealth, there is a single priceless asset they do not posses, and which could be used to promote Apple’s iconic founder, Steve Jobs.

The one and only domain hack that could perfectly do the job (pun intended) is none other than Steve.Jobs – but the domain is reserved by the Dot .jobs registry.

Shouldn’t Apple pay a couple of million dollars to get it, infusing the dot .jobs registry with some cash? It’d be a great symbolic purchase that many Apple fans would appreciate.

On another note, hand.jobs and blow.jobs is probably the funniest Registry-owned pair of “domain hacks” ever.

They should spend the money and really try to acquire a.pl for their shortener…

John – If App.le were available, it’d be great. A.pl makes no sense.

I’m slightly off the subject, sorry.

yes, it makes no sense alone. If apple incorporated it in their links, in comparison to twitter, it would make more sense then t.co lol

This is just a shortener idea. They should stick to apple.com of course 🙂
