Uniregistry has rolled out a new contact form for domains parked at Domain Name Sales.
The new design is responsive, which means that it adapts to the width of the device it’s displayed on.
It’s also visually far more pleasant, separating the three fields – name, email and phone number – that must be submitted in order to receive a quote from the domain seller.
The previous form design appeared on a separate layer atop of the domain lander’s background, that apparently conflicted with some mobile devices.
We like it a lot, although it’d be great to be able to edit the text that appears on that page as well; the Flippa “for sale” pages offer this option currently.
Here’s an example form as seen on the desktop.
The changes look really great.
Constant tweaks, adjustments and testing is required to present a domain in the best light. When done correctly, value is added and sales prices increase. What works and doesn’t work, seems to change over time…
It sure helps when you have 100’s of thousands of data points to look at! π
Really proud & privileged to be a user of their platform as being ‘one of the best’ clearly isn’t their motto & they are continually striving for improvement.
It’s great that they fixed the resize problem. It would be great if you could also add an image or two.
A background image occupying the whole screen is what really need (a video in background on the entire screen would be even better).
If google don’t permit it, leave google.
It’s simple.
Erik – “If google donβt permit it, leave google.” That’s a very simplistic solution. DNS is a Google partner so that’s not going to happen.
