Warning: These domains are stolen.

Veteran domain investor Satoshi Shimoshita, known as “toho” on DNForum, announced the theft of a large portfolio of mostly numeric domains.

The following 34 domains were stolen from his account at eNom, on July 27th and six more domains on August 3rd, after he had opened an emergency support ticket!

First batch of stolen domains, mostly numeric:

1176.com
5128.com
9530.com
1084.com
1089.com
1093.com
1094.com
1136.com
1139.com
1142.com
1146.com
1152.com
1154.com
1162.com
1163.com
1167.com
1169.com
1173.com
1207.com
2363.com
2002.net
1265.com
359.net
197.net
3dj.com
4163.com
0690.com
1478.com
2003.net
1111.net
1208.com
3051.com
1803.com
489.com

Second batch of stolen domains:

dinx.com
myin.com
newbox.com
ww9.com
xinhai.com
pande.com

It’s hardly surprising that the majority of these domains were moved to the Chinese domain registrar, Ename. Some domains were moved to Dynadot.

Satoshi expressed his frustration over the slow pace at which the investigation is progressing.

Ename is known for making things very difficult to lawful owners, very often refusing to return the stolen domains to the losing registrar, thus prompting the filing of lawsuits against ‘John Does’ at the US Federal Court in order to reclaim them.

If you notice any of these domains being offered for sale at domain venues, let us know.

I dealt Toho alot in the old days. Was great to do business with him and as well all the other domainers equally.
This theft is hard if gone to ename as you said.
But lets cross fingers and hope all is resolved swiftly.

I wish Toho the best and hope names return with no legal battle.

That’s terrible; certainly some very valuable domains there; I hope that he gets them back quickly and without a huge uphill battle. I own ww10.com, so I hope that I’m not next in line!
