Media Options is on a roll, and it’s all about crypto and domains.
We covered the acquisition of Rooster.com – a cocky domain – along with other domains that Drew Rosener, founder of Media Options, has added to the company’s portfolio, recently.
It seems that Media Options now owns two great generic .com domains, formerly owned by Microsoft.
The domains Firefly.com and Jellyfish.com were acquired from James Booth of BQDN.com, and Media Options paid him in Bitcoin.
James Booth was also instrumental in the recent acquisition of DO.com by Media Options.
Other domains that Drew Rosener announced that were recently acquired, include Bodega.com and Bungalow.com. Rosener also won HoneyMoney.com at a Dropcatch auction.
Drew Rosener, a cryptocurrency believer, stated that had he invested all the money spent on domains on Bitcoin instead, it’d be worth $600 million dollars today. 😀
