Crikey! Auction repeats on #DropCatch without deadbeat winner

There are domainer deadbeats out there, and the winner of the auction for Crikey.com is one of them.

A few days ago, the domain name Crikey.com was auctioned off on DropCatch. The auction ended at $8,850 dollars, according to statistical data kept by Namebio.

So what happened? Why is Crikey.com back in auction at DropCatch, with two days to go?

Apparently, the winner of the auction for Crikey.com that ended on December 11th, didn’t pay. When that happens, the domain goes back in auction, and the account that failed to pay is banned from the DropCatch marketplace.

Crikey.com is now at $1,564 dollars, having received 78 bids from 60 bidders.

Deadbeat winners can be a menace on any domain auction venue. Hopefully, they get blocked on DropCatch the first time such activity occurs.
