GoDaddy-owned Uniregistry is set to end its operations and close down “mid-year.”
Responses from Uniregistry Support sent to one of its users were confirmed independently. There is no set date currently but in the coming month or so there will be an official announcement from Uniregistry about the company’s close and full transition of existing accounts to GoDaddy.
Meanwhile, while the Uniregistry app still works for inquiries and other functions, domain management is not possible, hence the response below:

The untimely end of the revolutionary platform launched by domain entrepreneur, Frank Schilling, marks the end of an era; that of independent registrars and marketplaces that do not succumb to GoDaddy control.

Godaddy still does not support the .link and some other extensions that Uniregistry does. How are they going to handle that?
rjb – Good question. Uniregistry is already a separate GoDaddy registrar, GoDaddy Online Services Cayman Islands Ltd.
What will happen is a transition of existing non-retail accounts to the GoDaddy manager.
