Domainer documents domain theft in diary

Starting in November of 2014, just days after his domain name 6FE.com was stolen from his GoDaddy account, the owner of Domainers United blogged about his ordeal.

The domain was removed from his account by Chinese thieves, and was transferred to Ename – the apparent domain registrar of choice for Chinese criminals.

For several days, the domainer shared updates, disclosing the difficulties he faced on a daily basis.

Most of the entries documenting the domain theft reveal a lot of frustration and hopelessness over the incident:

“I feel like i have just been robbed in front of the police and instead of going after the thief who is slowly strolling away, the officers start to interrogate me and ask to come to the station to fill out some paperwork to prove that i own the wallet that was ripped away from me.”

Finally, 90 days later, the domain was returned to his possession, and back to his GoDaddy account.
