The Homeland Security Investigations department in Baltimore have seized the domain Mordernatx.com, a typo of the official domain name Modernatx.com.
The domain Mordernatx.com was seized in accordance with a seizure warrant issued by the United States Court for the District of Maryland after a Magistrate Judge found probable cause that the domain was forfeitable, as part of an investigation of a Covid-19 fraud scheme.
The phishing domain was registered on December 8, 2020. Escrow.com reports that online scams are rampant this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
