The illustrious Kim Dotcom is still pondering his future after years of litigation, stemming from his MegaUpload project.
It seems that one of Kim Dotcom’s precious domain assets, K.im, has changed hands. The domain is on the Island of Man ccTLD and it apparently expired and dropped; it’s what is commonly known as a “domain hack.”
Some Bulgarian guy re-registered it, and are using the traffic to push their own agenda in a rant against Google.
Kim Dotcom claims the renewal emails didn’t reach them before Christmas, and there was no communication with the registrar, so the domain dropped. He stated that lawyers are now involved.
