Dot .Blows registry to increase #domain fees 10-fold in 2020

It’s “going against the grain” for controversial new gTLD Registry, dot .Blows.

The startup funded by MIT and Princeton dropouts announced that they are increasing base fees for domain names in 2020, tenfold.

“Coronavirus has caused a lot of collateral damage in the industry, and we aren’t going to just lay down and suck it up,” said Dot .Blows CEO, Jim Dick.

“We have to make money somehow. By increasing our fees we’ll be passing the buck onto our customers, that’s only fair. Domain names that end in .blows are becoming essential anyway. Everyone wants one, and we have to follow supply and demand principles going back to ancient times,” added Dick.

Domain investors are outraged by Dick’s move, considering how many domainers can’t afford milk formula for their newborns. The outrage was amplified by instagram photos of Jim Dick fishing on his yacht, “BIG DICK,” anchored outside Bermuda. Dick’s flanked by two redheads in topless bikinis, they hold the signs Marsha.Blows and Trisha.Blows – their matching domains.

“Dick’s a real dick and he knows we can’t afford any more price increases in 2020, these assholes are following Verisign’s example,” said Holly Jackson, domain investor from Florida. “I say .Blows sucks big time, and you suck, Dick!”

If you want to protest about the dot .Blows price increase send them a note asking for a price freeze in 2020.
