We know that some of you have a love/hate relationship with GoDaddy.
The largest domain registrar in the world, grew in leaps and bounds during the past decade; mostly due to the personality of its founder, the illustrious Bob “elephant killer” Parsons.
These days, GoDaddy has skirted away from using eye candy on its homepage, although the Super Bowl commercials still demonstrate its former marketing tendencies.
The truth is, that when it comes down to a combination of combo deals, GoDaddy manages to offer better prices, due to the availability of domain coupon codes.
With the Dot .Co anniversary approaching fast, many of you with .Co domains up for renewal are wondering: which is the cheapest domain registrar for .Co renewals?
While registrations of .Co domains can be made for as little as $12.99, renewals is where domain registrars make most of their money from.
The $24.99 renewal price at Name.com appears to be cheaper than the $27.99 GoDaddy is asking; but once you roll in a 30% discount code GDBBKA994 the effective rate is $20.99 at GoDaddy.

If Godaddy is the largest registrar why dont they have more .ext like 101domains?
Plus they are more expensive then 101 with coms.
I renewed one of my domains via an email link andhad no oppertunity to enter my discount code [2 times] I mailed them about that and the refused to give an inhouse credit..[ I have shown how much i pay for a domain with them .]
Its not the money ,its the principal and goodwill .. so they are going .[over 300 domains] Im moving to 101.

1domainreg.com currently have a sale on .co for just £8.75 which works out around $13 – $14 currently. That’s just for new registrations though, so not sure if that will suite everyone!
Though its always worth a mention for smaller domain registers like this as it save me a few pounds on a couple of new .co domains I registered 🙂
