Remember those “15 minutes of fame” that Andy Warhol talked about?
You don’t? Well, that was said way back in 1968 and you probably weren’t born yet.
With YouTube recently upping their max video length from 10 to 15 minutes, this is now entirely feasible verbatim!
So what is the latest web phenomenon?
A crafty video editor took a video clip of a Moldavian pop song and edited out the catchy saxophone loop – the flipping, dancing melodic part is then played over and over for 8 minutes and 53 seconds of pixelized YouTube glory.
Click here if you don’t know where in the world is Moldavia.
Following on the footsteps of getting “Rick Rolled” – a term coined about surprising someone with a video clip of 80’s pop wonder Rick Astley – there’s a new term to go with the sax guy video: Saxrolled
Someone has already registered Saxrolled.com and that’s where you can quickly have some fun sending your friends to 😀
