Friday shocker: Braden Pollock switches to painting full-time

The shocking news came at the end of Webfest: Braden Pollock, domain investor and owner of ScienceFiction.com, is on the verge of retiring from domaining.

“Time for me to follow my childhood dreams and heritage, and as a great-nephew of Jackson Pollock, I shall practice the fine art of paint dripping as well” said Pollock, sipping on a beer.

This Webfest was an eye-opener, and I want to give art 100% of my time, now that I’ve found my calling in life” added Pollock.

Braden Pollock’s “Painting #1”

Jackson Pollock’s painting techniques inspired Braden as a child. He is now considering reselling ScienceFiction.com back to Chef Patrick, who is eager to take a break from selling real estate.

“I can’t wait to get my hands all drenched in colorful paint, to let it drip onto the canvas, free from the digital world of domains I’ve been enslaved to for too long!” exclaimed Pollock.

“Art is a representation of humanistic surrender to nature’s secret commands, it’s a voice louder than the tallest waterfall!” added Pollock, finishing his beer.

Braden’s first piece of work, titled “Numerous reasons to take a walk outside your home office on a cold Friday morning“,  or “Painting #1” for short, will be exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Midtown Manhattan in New York City.

Congratulations to Braden for this exciting career change! 😀
