#GoDaddy broker service fee almost doubled to $120 dollars

If you insist on using the GoDaddy broker service to acquire domains, it will now cost you almost twice as much.

The price has been jacked from the previous $69.99 dollars plus 20% commission, to a whopping $119 dollars – plus 20% commission.

Yes, that’s a price hike of $50 dollars, or an increase of 72% for providing the same services as before.

We knew inflation eats up the economy but last time we checked this isn’t Germany in the 1920s.

So far, Uniregistry’s Domain Buy Service remains at $59 dollars per domain. Will this get axed next?

Shit’s gotten more expensive at GoDaddy

Godaddy seems to be flexing its muscles by boosting prices on add-on services, while continuing to charge retail customers well above market prices for registrations of legacy tlds and especially new tlds.

Now, with a 20% fee and a $120 flat charge, a big chunk of the budget buyers have to purchase premium domains from investors goes to Godaddy.
