Happy Black Friday.
The Domain King, Rick Schwartz, did his online shopping early, grabbing the aged domain HedgeBets.com via the aftermarket.
This 2003 registration was available to pick for the estimated price of $2,395 dollars, per a captured listing from 2021. We would not be surprised if the price was even lower than that.
What would Rick do with HedgeBets.com?
We’ll have to wait and see if a joint venture comes out of it! 😀
In our opinion, it’s better than the singular, HedgeBet.com, that was sold via a DropCatch auction two weeks ago. The selling price was $2,484 dollars and it’s not yet clear if the Domain King owns that one as well. That was via a private auction, however, as the domain was registered in 2018.
In recent days, Rick posted a poll about the popularity of generic domains vs. brandables, asking his followers to rank HedgeBet.com against BingoBet.com.
Bingo Bet is a global operator of bingo gambling that might or might not be available in the US due to regulations.
Note: As Rick Schwartz’s Twitter account is private, you might not be able to see the poll results: HedgeBet.com won with 62% of the votes.
Meanwhile, here are some other recent domain registrations by the Domain King that we came across:
- daytonabeachracetrack.com
- daytonabeachraceway.com
- daytonaracetrack.com
- luvdaytona.com
- luvdaytonabeach.com
- weleaseeverydomain.com
- weleaseanydomain.com
Rick also acquired Bocaverse.com with the help of domain investor Krista Gable.
