A radiant Jodi Chamberlain, returned home yesterday after a short hearing at the municipal court.
The charges for a traffic violation that involved speeding were dropped, when the judge canceled the ticket, letting Jodi go with a warning instead.
“After reviewing the charges and realizing that Ms. Chamberlain was simply rushing home to wrap up a great social event about domains, I decided to let her go with a warning,” said the honorable justice Judy Sheindlin.
“Ms. Chamberlain is a great event organizer professional, just be careful with your fancy schmancy mini cooper there, ok?” added the judge, smiling.
As part of the judge’s ruling, Jodi must print and carry with her a sticker that says “Mommy, don’t speed!” as a reminder of respecting the city speed limit at all times.
Citing Jodi Chamberlain’s success at NamesCon adds yet another laurel for Jodi, who is the heart and soul of event management.
