After a month of continuous bumping by its seller, and the use of the augmented reality that flaky registration numbers generated, Domaining.XYZ failed to sell.
Hardly a surprise, as its seller chose to ignore all public and private advice about the actual performance of .XYZ domains.
With more than 215,000 robo-registrations at Network Solutions, the domain stuffing of .XYZ domains in users’ accounts by NetSol continues.
It’s truly a shame witnessing the route that the once promising new gTLD chose to take in order to claim high adoption rates.
Bidding went up to $975 he should have just sold it at that price.
My biggest problem with these auctions is when I get that email from Flippa informing me “the next bid will hit the reserve”.
I got that for Domaining.XYZ many days before auction ended and of course no one bids after that.
It so always happens that the bid just below the reserve is done by a new bidder with no history that never wants to pay $25 more to get the domain. Ridiculous…
