There are some major changes coming up to the web site of popular PPC company, Parked.com
Known for facilitating one of the most effective web sites around, Parked.com announced that despite the good looks it has retained for several years now, it’s always time for a change.
“The green color we use throughout isn’t going too well with the current state of bad economy, said Donny Simonton of Parked. “Our clients and visitors need to encounter something that goes along with the grim days of financial turmoil that we are going through, so we decided to change the color scheme to purple; a color most of us associate with loss and mourning.”
After Sedo’s redesign last year, Parked is now the second major PPC company to seek an improved user experience through a visual manifestation of client-requested features.
In the following weeks, Parked.com will be completely purple; a color everyone familiar with Domainer Mardi Gras would surely love.
Changing to that cool purple color theme could bring new publicity, excitement and media coverage so it’s a real smart move by Donny and a lot cheaper vs wasting big money on a major website redesign.
David – I think that Parked spent 6 months fine-tuning this subtle but very effective change in the color scheme. It will definitely lead to further realization by PPC customers that they are not alone in the sensation of doom and gloom they’re experiencing.
If they did some split testing and found out that this color brings more conversions then that’s fine. Personally, I probably wouldn’t park if based it on just colors.
Ed – the changes are amazing, I love the purple hue more than green. Now I won’t be sad about the bad economy anymore, I have a friend in Parked 😀
Yea, it should be brown, that the color of F-arted and maybe a sensory of 2wks old sardin
