Very often, we encounter domain names emblazoned on vehicles; we attempt to photograph these “domains in the wild” while we’re stationary.
That’s right, we won’t compromise safety in order to produce a photo of these “domain sightings!”
Such domain names are grouped in two categories: dot .COM domains, and all the rest.
The latest encounter is about the domain name OneBlood.org, which was marking the organization’s blood bank vehicle.
According to their web site:
” OneBlood is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community asset responsible for providing safe, available and affordable blood to more than 200 hospital partners and their patients throughout most of Florida, parts of Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.
We distribute nearly one million blood products annually, employ more than 2,000 people, operate more than 80 donor centers and deploy nearly 200 of our signature Big Red Buses throughout our service area for blood drives.”
Great cause, with a great .ORG domain name!
