We continue our trip into the uncharted territory of uber-domainer, Frank Schilling – one of the three standing pillars of domaining (the other two being Rick Schwartz and Dr. Kevin Ham, a.k.a. “The Man who owns the Internet”.)
There’s no question about it: Frank owns some awesome domains, like Note.com that has become an aimless spamfest platform – but he also owns numerous obscure domains.
In the past we have talked about Frank’s HIV cure domain, his invisible monkey domain and even the fact that Frank Schilling owns the year 2011.
A new entry into the list of Franks “gems” is the domain name Paparia.com
And that’s some big “cojones” that Frank’s got, because the word “paparia” means “testicles” in Greek.
Oops! π
After the Pastitsio.com snafu, where adult ads appeared on the web site instead of Greek pasta dishes, Paparia.com displays some harmless information about traveling to exotic places – and thankfully not anything related to hairy balls.
Still, we are amazed at the variety of domains in Frank’s portfolio and we will continue our quest for such amazing domain names like Paparia.com π
Jungs, wenn schon ein deutsches Wort dann richtig: “Γber-Domainer”. Wenn man kein Γ auf der Tastatur findet, benutzt man ein ue.
Arno – Danke schΓΆn, or should I say, danke schoen. I don’t have an umlaut on my English keyboard, unfortunately.
Just Google “uber domainer” and look for the top result.
Auf wiedersehen!
You can book a hotel at your favorite hairy paparia.
Apparently the Portuguese have an extra set of cojones they were not aware of.
Paparia is a village in Castelo Branco, Portugal. It is 94 miles (151km) north east of Lisbon
Yanni – It must be by the Malakas lake π
