There’s nothing wrong with speculative gTLD domain registrations, in a market that still tries to prove itself.
Domain investor, Rick Schwartz, has been a supporter of meaningful gTLD domains, that is, domains that the keyword + gTLD form a pair.
In the past we’ve seen the Domain King ® register such gems as Take.Vacations, and FlippedProperty.com – both domains he eventually dropped.
Rest assured that Rick Schwartz tweaks his domain portfolio constantly, acquiring new domains and letting go of those that are not worth holding onto.
In a recent such drop, the domain Worst.Solutions was let go, and sure enough, someone else owns it now.
Picking up the Domain King® ‘s drops?
Dropping that domain was most likely the best solution in this case! 😀
I don’t think I would have used a $1 reg. coupon on Worst.Solutions personally. Someone else obviously thought there was some value though to go dumpster diving for it. You know what they say though, “One mans trash is another mans treasure”. 😉
