Beginning at Noon TODAY we are opening Registration for T.R.A.F.F.I.C. 2012 at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale. October 7th -10th with our Cabana Networking starting on Friday, October 5th. Our agenda? We have none, YET. However, as we have done 22 times before over the past 8 years, we will let it all unfold throughout the year. We will work each day until October to ensure that T.R.A.F.F.I.C. 2012 will not only be as good as our last shows but even better and will continue to break new ground. We will do it all right in front of your eyes in a very transparent manner. As usual, we will tackle the toughest issues we face and share thoughts on how to navigate through it.

But even when the price goes up to $1295, your ticket will become more valuable as the year goes on. As I stated before, the walls of the Ritz Carlton will not get any bigger and we will cut off registration at 360 attendees.

What do I expect coming our way in 2012? I expect one of the best years we have seen since 2007 after a very bumpy first quarter. Domain names have finally taken center stage on Wall Street, Main Street and Government. Eventually even those on Madison Avenue wrapped up in their budget issues and egos will be figuring it out.
Those end users that gloss over their domain choice early on will be forced to revisit the issue if they expect to survive and thrive. I think the biggest unknown is whether domainers have the PATIENCE to wait up to 3 more years for this pie to be baked. Many don’t and that is what will propel some great bargains during this time.
Amazing to see just how large this industry has grown around us while the number of core domain investors have not. Much of the domain industry is run by folks that know very little about domain names and almost nothing at all when you talk about INVESTMENT domains. There is nothing wrong with that other than domain investors not knowing it exists. The face of this industry today looks nothing like it did just a few short years ago. It has gone mainstream and they are feeling their way in our direction as they turn ignorance into knowledge and power. The knowledge many of us run on. Breathe. Have proven. Now it is our time to help fill in the blanks for them. The timing is right because they search for what we already know.
So like always, T.R.A.F.F.I.C. will chase tomorrow and be there before anyone else knows the day changed. Just 1 step ahead to insure that you too are 1 step ahead.
