A joke goes that 80% of the world’s support centers reside in India; the rest is from a basement that patches you to an Indian call-center.
It comes as no surprise that the domain HPPrinter.Support is registered in India, for different reasons obviously.
That didn’t sit too well with the corporate offices of Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P. that filed a UDRP at the National Arbitration Forum, breaking new ground as far as gTLD UDRPs are concerned.
This is the first UDRP for a dot .Support domain, and the owner blatantly displays a “Domain for sale” sign, held by a lady in a red dress.
Nice.
It was a non-brainer case for the single panelist, Terry F. Peppard, who ordered the domain name HPPrinter.Support to be transferred to the Complainant.
