Numeric Domains report: Most NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN .com domains *still* available

Chinese domainers are crazy about numeric domains.

Chinese domainers are crazy about numeric domains.

Domain investors of numeric domains awoke to a shocking revelation earlier today, when an article at Numeric Domains unveiled the sad reality: most NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN .com and .net domains are still unregistered.

“I was under the impression that if I kept punching numbers on my keyboard as if it were stuck, I’d come up with a valuable .com for future investment,” said numeric domain investor Hugh Jorgan.

“After reading that most NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN .com domains are available, I think that there is some flawed logic behind the notion that numbers are the secret key to domain success!” exclaimed Jorgan.

Hundreds of domainers, particularly in China, are following dozens of domain auctions every week, looking for the perfect number.

The proliferation of easy access to fast Internet connections, has made competition in the numeric domain name space, painfully fierce.

“I wish I lived in the old days of the Internet, when a 14.4kbps modem was the Ferrari of online connection devices,” says Donald Buck, a domainer from Tampa Bay, FL.

“Today, some bespectacled kid from Shanghai logs in and gets the best numeric domains right from under my hands!” adds Buck, clearly disappointed.

If you’re looking to invest in NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN .com domains, the name space is virginal territory, so keep your credit card in the freezer to avoid excessive temptation and high bills.
