Earlier today, while the domaining world was mostly asleep, we broke the news of how apparently Marty McFly traveled back to the future in 2032 and took a Polaroid picture from TRAFFIC 2032 in Ft. Lauderdale.
OK, so that was parody that even the Foo Factor understood as such, but here’s the real, juicy stuff. 😉
It seems that the domain name BackToTheFuture.com dropped and was re-registered a mere 10 days ago, according to top WHOIS tool DomainTools.
Think Marty, think! 😀
The bad news first: no, there is no upcoming movie as we’d wish for, what with being big fans of the BTTF trilogy. 😀
And now for the good news: the domain was registered by fans of the BTTF movie trilogy, thus using BackToTheFuture.com as the main entry point into the world of Marty McFly and Doc. Expect to use Google+ if you want to take full advantage of the interactive content.
There is plenty of photographic material and references to the cast members and the BTTF movies so all the fans should rejoice over this slight case of domain squatting. After all, the title “Back to the future” is a trademark of Universal Studios.
No need to press the gas pedal on your Delorean to 88 miles per hour – just visit BackToTheFuture.com !
