Halvarez Junior ante portas? A SnapNames customer thinks so

Where is the money Lebowski?

Where is the money you bid on the domain auctions, Lebowski?

An irate SnapNames customer is dejected by the unfair competition of a bidder, who allegedly fails to pay for the auctions they won, repeatedly – without being banned.

According to a thread over at top domain forum, DNForum, the SnapNames account ‘m10v‘ has activity consistent with that of a non-paying bidder.

“Does anybody know – m10v ? He hasn’t paid a lot of domains, and he continues to cheat the prices of the other domains…”

Despite affirmation by SnapNames support that the bids are legitimate, the irate DNForum member carries on:

“Bullshit ! Looks like you know nothing about it or you just trying to spoof the facts ! If everybody equal then why after braking the rules ( sellingcenter.com m10v 03-Jun-2013 15:44 PDT — Payment Failed ) the bidder wasn’t banned ? Yesterday he won 7 domains ! Also he placed a bid for $1100 at adzilla.com. Did he pay for all he won ?”

Memories of the “Hank Alvarez” scandal that broke out in late 2009 are still vivid to SnapNames customers; the fact that SnapNames hired independent company Rust Consulting and issued refunds does not seem to make a difference to many.

SnapNames was later sold to Key Systems and is not linked to Oversee, who owned the company along with Moniker when the “Halvarez scandal” broke out.
