Three weeks ago, we watched in disbelief as the 20 year old domain name, Graceland.com, was lost in a UDRP; the domain was used all along to display Bible quotes in an overall religious theme.
Its former owner pleaded for support, declaring the domain and its content “under siege” in a dramatic post.
As of Thursday, March 27th, the domain Graceland.com is in the possession of the Elvis Presley estate managers; there is a “Coming Soon!” message displayed, along with the logo for Graceland and the byline “The Home of Elvis Presley.”
What would Elvis say about this case, if he were alive today? We aren’t so sure.
Then again, The King lives – at least, in this fun Dutch beer commercial.
