The auction for the domain name Feel.com surpassed expectations, ending at $100,100 dollars at Flippa.
The 19 year old gem was auctioned by a mysterious Flippa user, “CryptogenX“, who appears to have come straight from Lord of the Rings.
Despite the obvious traction that such a premium domain name attracted, the outcome was anticlimactic, as the domain did not sell, despite passing Reserve.
The sole bid was made 22 days ago by someone who shows up as “Banned” at Flippa, indicating some type of fraudulent activity has occurred.
Flippa’s auction mechanism can detect such activity and raise alerts of shill bidding or other fraud; the question remains though: Why wasn’t the bid canceled?
