Pandemic.com is a premium, aged domain name that describes the key element of the Coronavirus, or Covid-19 virus as it’s known officially.
With billions of dollars at stake, such a domain could be utilized by a health organization, hospital, or secondary industry professional services provider – for example, a global manufacturer of respiratory masks, such as 3M.
Obviously, the registrant of Pandemic.com is aware of its value and potential in the secondary market. Pandemic.com is listed for sale at Sedo, with a minimum asking price of $99,000 dollars. According to the sales page, the seller of Pandemic.com is located in Malta, and has an active Sedo profile since 2019.
Between 2012 and 2014, Pandemic.com was hosting a WordPress page with information on infectious diseases, such as bird flu, avian flu, swine flu. We are guessing that this type of information was put together to make the domain Pandemic.com look “developed.”
In February 2020, the domain’s DNS changed to servers operated by SiteMatrix LLC, a Georgia corporation formed by domain entrepreneur, Rick Latona.
We aren’t sure if that means the domain is under direct ownership of SiteMatrix LLC, or it’s simply monetized by them on behalf of a client.
Either way, Pandemic.com is an extremely valuable domain name that remained with the same owner, Kirk Biglione, between 2000 and 2017, if not longer – per DomainTools.
