Domains NOT to register: Your latest “Facebook” idea

Facebook is being used by more than one billion people worldwide, making it the largest and most successful social media platform ever.

There are many reasons why Facebook became so successful, and one of them is its ability to connect people and share information, news and ideas – along with photos of grumpy cats.

One thing to remember, is that “Facebook” is a famous trademark. One cannot simply “facebook this” or “facebook that” in products or services, because that’s not just another word.

With that in mind, don’t go registering domains that contain the famous “Facebook” trademark, like our friend here did with FacebookDeveloper.net.

The domain was placed on Flippa, with a starting asking price of $100.
