The numeric domain market is currently on fire, all while the dust from a recent sale of 360.com to Qihoo for a reputed $17 million dollars has yet to settle.
Two domain names, 400.com and 440.com appear to have changed hands very recently.
First, 400.com appears to have been sold by the holding account at 4.CN, also known as Hangzhou Duomai E-Commerce. The new owners forward the domain to 400.CN, which is a quite large telecom services company in China.
Furthermore, Hangzhou Duomai E-Commerce acquired 440.com, a domain that was owned for years by 440 International, a radio services company based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
There are no details about the amounts involved in either transaction; based in the current market conditions, that could easily be in the millions of dollars.
